Listening to patient feedback

We are committed to our vision of Listening to Patients. We are interested to hear about what you, a friend or a relative think of your recent health care experience or any questions that you might want to ask NHS Tameside and Glossop Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG).

Although we have formal channels for complaints and freedom of information requests they sometimes don't meet the requirements that the public or patients would like. Quite often people just want to have a question answered or have a conversation with someone inside the organisation.

Through the Listening to Patients portal, local people living in Tameside and Glossop can log a question or request information from the CCG and have their response tracked and responded to within an agreed timeframe.

An example of the type of questions you may want to ask:

  • “Can someone tell me what are the names of the committees that make up NHS Tameside and Glossop CCG?”
  • “Can someone help me with how I can become involved in the work of NHS Tameside and Glossop CCG?”

Only by listening to what you tell us can we make sure that the services we buy on your behalf are safe and of a high standard of care. It's about being a transparent organisation and saying "we are listening to you, and when you have a question that you would like us to answer or we can learn from your experiences of health and social care services, we will hear and respond as best we can”

Over to you….
