Draft South Tame Valley Employment Area Supplementary Planning Document

Notice is given that Tameside Council has prepared a Draft Supplementary Planning Document (SPD) for The South Tame Valley Employment Area and that this along with its supporting material are published for public consultation.

The role of the SPD is to help guide future development within The South Tame Valley Employment Area. The SPD highlights the importance of enabling employment generating development to take place in the best locations available, to meet Tameside’s employment objectives.

The SPD contains a number of policies which will assist both developers and resident businesses alike when designing schemes and it will help the Council to make consistent decisions when assessing planning applications.

Comments on the Draft SPD and its supporting material should be made during the 6 week consultation period running from Monday 17 July 2017 to Monday 28 August 2017.

Documents are available to view on the Council’s website throughout the consultation period: www.tameside.gov.uk/SouthTameValleySPD
