NHS ENGLAND – “WHAT MATTERS TO YOU” CAMPAIGN
From the 6 June 2018 to 31 July 2018 NHS Tameside and Glossop Clinical Commissioning Group (NHST&GCCG) and Tameside Metropolitan Borough Council (TMBC) jointly promoted and facilitated the NHS England “What Matters to You” (WMtY) Campaign, where individuals and groups across the borough were encouraged to tell us what matters to them in terms of the health and social care they receive in Tameside and Glossop.
WMtY feedback cards were circulated across a wide range of platforms, which included GP surgeries, Voluntary and Community Sector Organisations, Care Homes, Town Halls, Local Healthwatch organisations, Patient Participation Groups and Healthy Living Days. We also engaged with members of our Partnership Engagement Conference in June, and at local Park Runs, which celebrated the NHS 70th Birthday. We also ran a survey online via our Partnership Engagement webpages, which gave people a different platform to engage and have their say.
The feedback has been put into the top ten key themes, the themes have been collated from 100 individual responses received from local people across Tameside and Glossop. A report has also been sent to NHS England as an example of how this campaign was implemented in our local area.
