    A chance for parents to shape future maternity services

    FROM homebirths to breastfeeding support  - new parents and parents to be are being invited to give their views on all aspects of maternity services in Tameside and Glossop.

    All are welcome to attend the first Maternity Voices Partnership event at Greenside Children’s Centre, Greenside Lane, Droylsden, on Tuesday 31 July anytime from 10.30am to 1pm.

    Parents and parents to be will be able to chat informally to other families, midwives and consultants, Homestart,  Children’s Centre staff , Early Attachment and the Family Nurse Partnership to share their experiences, feedback and ideas on any aspect of antenatal, birth or postnatal care to help shape the services for the future.

    The event will include a free lunch as well as activities and crafts for little ones.

    The Maternity Voices Partnership is an independent team made up mainly of parents and their families, commissioners and providers and gives everyone involved a chance to work together to design and improve maternity care. For more information please contact publichealth.enquiries@tameside.gov.uk
