    Accessing your GP practice

You should contact your GP if you or a family member has a condition that you or your pharmacist cannot treat. Your GP practice has core opening hours of 8am – 6.30pm, Monday to Friday. Your GP practice will be able to offer you a range of appointment options, including evening and weekend appointments based across five hubs.

    GP Out Of Hours

If you need to seek urgent care or advice after 6.30pm on a weekday or over the weekend, you should call NHS 111 or go online 111.nhs.uk.

    Urgent Treatment

If you have a condition that needs prompt medical help to avoid it deteriorating, but is not life-threatening, then the new and enhanced Urgent Treatment Centre (including walk-in access) and primary care access service is there to help you.

    Urgent Dental Care

A list of Greater Manchester Urgent Dental Care contact numbers for in-hours and out-of-hours is available here

    Right Treatment Right Place

Sometimes our urgent care services are not always used in the right way.  Each year we see an increase in the number of people visiting Accident and Emergency (A&E) when they could have received the help that they needed from their Pharmacist, GP or our Urgent Treatment Centre (including walk-in acess).
