Health Information Week starts on Monday 1st July, and there will be free events at Ashton Library on Thursday 4th between 10am and 4pm.
Free events for adults will be as follows:
- Tai Chi session 10.30-11.30am. For gentle exercise and relaxation try this taster session with Active Tameside.
- Start Decluttering! 12 noon-1pm. Professional organiser Amanda Manson will be giving her tips on how to reclaim your space – you may not need that extension after all!
- Food & Mood 1.30-2.30pm. Be Well Tameside will explain how the food we eat affects our mood – and how small changes can have a positive impact on body and mind.
- Become a Dementia Friend 3-4pm. Learn about what it’s like to live with dementia and how every action and interaction counts.
